The move to our new workshop has given us a lot more room and Timmsy's Auto Ayr are excited to announce that we can now offer Wheel Alignment services in Ayr. When it comes to ensuring the smooth performance and longevity of your car, regular wheel alignments are a non-negotiable aspect of vehicle maintenance and we are pleased to now be able to offer this service to our customers.
Services also on offer include car detailing and standard maintenance such as oil changes, engine repairs and electrical repair. If you live locally but are unable to bring your vehicle in for any reason, we are able to retrieve it on a tow truck and have it brought to the workshop.

About the owner
A brief history of Robert Timms' 33+ years in the automotive repair trade. Having completed an apprenticeship at the local Nissan dealership, Robert then moved to Ford as a service advisor. Robert has worked in various capacities with RACQ, keeping his mechanical training up to date. Robert has also worked with Holden and a local independent mechanic for several years with hands on experience working with all makes and models.
An experienced Marine mechanic, Robert worked for many years as a master tech with the local Toyota dealership, where he took part in skills competitions, winning a diagnosis technician regional finals. Upon leaving Toyota, Robert worked for a local dealership handling multiple franchises including Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki and Isuzu. In short, Robert has worked with all makes and models for a good many years, constantly learning and upgrading skills and techniques.

Already certified in many areas, the business is growing rapidly. We now have three mechanics all working to provide quality repairs as quickly as possible.. If your vehicle can not move, we can arrange to have it brought to the workshop on a tow truck, potentially saving you a lot of extra time.
